We are happy to introduce our new 5V WS2811 Pixel available at Your Pixel Store. We heard the community, and we took action so for the last few months we worked hard to spec pixels that really would make a difference.

As a vendor we felt the responsibility to actually create a better pixel and not just say I have a better pixel. We wanted to offer a better experience with pixels and so we decided to improve on our current pixels.

Though our current pixels have worked great we wanted to offer a premium product for those that need an even more reliable product. These pixels have the following improvements:

1. Full Copper Pins used instead of the current hollow ones.
2. Sturdier pigtail ends to allow easier connection between stringd and extensions
3. We use Epistar led bulbs.
4. Bigger and thicker pcb board. The board is thicker to allow better heat distribution and better solder points.
5. Thicker wire gauge.
6. The epoxy rating is VO.
7. They work with current pixels sold, so no new equipment is needed

As a vendor, we felt a responsibility to do more than just claim to have a better pixel. We wanted to deliver on that promise by offering an improved product that enhances the user experience.

While our current pixels have performed admirably, we recognized the need for a premium option for those seeking even greater reliability. That’s why we made several key improvements to our new WS2811 Pixels.

First and foremost, we’ve upgraded to full copper pins, replacing the hollow ones used in our previous models. This enhances conductivity and ensures a more secure connection, reducing the risk of signal loss or failure.

Additionally, we’ve reinforced the pigtail ends to make it easier to connect strings and extensions. This sturdier construction minimizes the risk of damage during installation and ensures a more reliable connection over time.

Our new pixels also feature Epistar LED bulbs, known for their exceptional brightness and longevity. This ensures vibrant, consistent colors and reliable performance, even in challenging environments.

To further enhance durability and performance, we’ve increased the size and thickness of the PCB board. This allows for better heat distribution and more robust solder points, improving overall longevity and reliability.

We’ve also upgraded the wire gauge to a thicker size, enhancing conductivity and reducing the risk of voltage drop over long distances. This ensures that your pixel display remains bright and vibrant, even across large installations.

With an epoxy rating of VO, our new pixels meet stringent safety standards for flame resistance. This provides added peace of mind, especially in environments where fire safety is a concern.

Despite these upgrades, our new WS2811 Pixels are fully compatible with existing equipment, so there’s no need to invest in new controllers or accessories. Simply swap out your old pixels for the new and improved version, and enjoy enhanced performance right away.
